Even More Sprouting: US Oilseed Farming Industry in 2021

In the United States, oilseed farming is a specialized type of agriculture that grows, processes, and sells vegetable oils. In North America, it covers oilseeds such as soybeans, sunflowers, canola seeds, and others. In this area, soybean farms have increased in number from just a dozen at the turn of the 20th century to over one million by 2000 due to improved production practices.
